It was during his teen years, while sitting alone in his bathroom (of all places), teaching himself how to play the guitar and singing through an old song book, that Jer realized music had a purpose.  Music could inspire.  Music could encourage.  Music could entertain.  Music could engage.  Music could be one of God's greatest gifts.

These weren't the only things he realized.  Jer also realized that he had the gift of music.  A gift that could have been seen at the age of six when first pushed in front of 200 people in my little church in Colorado to sing a familiar Christmas melody.  A gift that could have been seen, and admittedly better used than, in garage bands throughout his high school years.  A gift that was used as the music pastor in several churches across the nation.  A gift that would now inspire, encourage, entertain and engage - all.

As a father of seven and married to the love of his life, Jer has drawn from many experiences, challenges, heartaches and joys evident now in many of the lyrics he has written.  Jer's music addresses a variety of topics including the joys of true love to the simple frailty of life.
